Let´s face it- the 8051 hardware is beginning to loose
influence. naah, it is not "beginning to loose influence" it is becoming a more 'qualified' occupation because the "new" generation- don´t start with restrictions like small memory, EPROM burner and home brew debugger. The EPROM burner is, in my opinion, a thing of the past for the '51 They are used to a full blown IDE, compiler and plenty of resources. if 'resources' are tools, it is all available for the '51 as far as usage it is actually increasing just see how many specialized I/Os get attached to a '51 core. A lot of knowledge begins to fade away- namely the small and independant web pages. that has always been the problem. A lot of self proclaimed experts make their own forum just to brag with the title 'webmaster' and such information will always be lost becuse only a few addicts will log on to a forum with one or two new posts per month. Thus, let us kill the "small and independant web pages" with a link to 8052 so the information can be concentrated in ONE place. I see questions unanswered in one forum where another poster has asked and been answered in another. So 8052.com should not only open to the big guys but also to the small ones. Is it not???? Hope, "8052.com still going strong" second that Erik |
