There is no thumbs-down icon that is marked on the main page. There were two reasons for that: 1) I want to draw attention to good posts/threads rather than bad ones. I think flagging the bad ones is just going to make people curious to see how bad it really is. 2) I believe that if the main page displays both thumbs-up and thumbs-down it's going to look like a mess of thumbs that will be hard to pick out the good ones from the bad ones with a quick glance.

At least those were my thoughts. I can change this if people think it would be useful to flag thumbs-down on the main page. Negative scores are displayed in each message, of course.
