If we place a thread score on the main page (as opposed to just a thumbs-up), what score should we put on the main page? The score of the original post that started the thread, some kind of total of all the posts in the thread, or...? As it has been observed so far, the original post does not get too many scores. If someone already scored it, it is less likely that another user will also score it. So sum of the scores can be displayed or both the scores of original and replies like 2(7) would indicate that original post got 2 and sum of the replies got 7 score. off course, only display positive rated posts. |
