#71828 - RE: Forum Administration Changes Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Since you brought this issue up again in another thread...
In my lowly opinion a lot of the senior posters didn't get the message. Hopefully with the karma system all posters, including senior posters, will be more consciencious of what they post. The other thing is you use the word "WE" a lot. Can you define what "We" means? The word "we" in my original post referred mostly to "we" as a group meaning all forum members. Of course, if all of us as a group can't reach an agreement on how to manage the new system the ultimate decision results with us, where us=Steve and me. But feedback is definitely welcome and I've already implemented some of the ideas that members have suggested in this thread. So the idea is that this be a system that helps the forum in general and that it be something that isn't imposed on the members so much as it is something that evolves from the suggestions of the members. I always thought it was you who owns this forum and Steve the moderator. Somehow I get the impression there are two others involved who have a say greater than others. Steve is the only moderator and I am the only owner/webmaster. There is no-one else that has any greater say, nor am I aware of anyone that has given any input in such a way as to attempt to exert any influence over either of us. At least no-one has tried to exert any influence over me, I assume that no-one has tried to exert any influence over Steve. Steve, any input? Regards, Craig steiner 8052.com Webmaster |
