Another option is to choose another OPamp, like your TL084, or better TL052, which is much more precise! This would work with +-9V supply.

Hi Kai,

Does that mean I can simply replace the TLC277 in the schematic you posted with TL082/TL052 with..
1. Supply +9V -9V.
2. Omiting the 16V zener.

Or any more changes will be needed.

I am more inclined towards TL082 due to its easy availability.
