In the case of pressure sensor the biggest problem is 'hysteresis'. Precision pressure sensors I know show a hysteresis error of about 0.05% of maximum reading (typical). So, I don't think, that you can reach a stage where even your 1/100th digit is 'rock solid' when the pressure is zero.
