Hi Kai,
How true it is. I was never taught this in any of my digital classes, but one of the first things they teach in rf class is that every component of every circuit is a conglomeration of resistance, inductance and capacitance. This is true of caps, inductors, resistors and even the wires and traces that connect them. This is why you often need more than one decoupling cap on a given chip. |
