#83464 - A bit disappointed... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hmm, I'm a bit disappointed about the answer, too. The 'problem' seems a bit fabricated. Transmission line effects are mostly not so clearly detectable. The first that is affected with unproper termination of transmission line is 'noise margin', which makes the circuit tend to work less reliable and to become more susceptible against noise and capacitive stray coupling. But a full fail of each new board...
What I would suggest is to add simple series termination resistors at the driver side, if possible. This will work with any chip speed and will make the board to work much more reliable. Kai |
