First Put and about 400 to 500 ohm resistor from ground to the resist pin. Theory is that it makes it hard for anything to pull it up except for the reset circuit attached. (Just a theory, have not test it) second Shield cables connected to earth ground, If you can't connect to earth ground, then a big hollow piece of metal. Keep in mind if you are getting static passing thru your circuit, it found a way to get to ground thru there(or from ground depend on electron flow theory). If the material is generating the static (most synthetic material are good dielectrics, so the electron just
set on top instead of conducting thru) Build some sort of pick up system to more the electrons from the surface of the material to ground. |
