Yes, for older sytems.

In the new system the procedure is as follows:
connect cable from unit to PDA/laptop
clik icon that the program we sent you installed on your laptop
when "ready" appear on screen go to next unit.

Hardly requires a "technician"

Now, of course, if you forsee no update ever needed and go by the economy route (no update hardware on your board) you will, of course, have to send a technician.

However, if you are a realist and know that your customer some day will wnat a new feature, by spending $2 initially you can save the cost ($500+) of sending a technician later.
