I am a summer intern working for a company that is looking to update its 8051 compiler and emulation tools.
1) how many "seats" ?
2) is this company '51 only or are other processors used ?
3) if the quality is top notch, does price matter ?
4) re emulation which you do not spec out is 95% functionality for 20% price attractive?
5) "emulator" is a much abused word, Are you referring to a simulator or an ICE?

At various places, I have "chosen" in a range from "penny pinching even if barely useable" to "the sky is the limit if the best tool".
