#117152 - Software houses should offer refunds Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Whenever they publish software without user documentation that precisely reflects the behavior of their software. Further, they should be required to provide that documentation in advance of a sale, so that one could determine on the basis of that documentation, whether the software is what one wants. Finding out afterward, that it doesn't do what one expects, is not satisfactory, and finding out after a purchase, that the software is not adequate should be preventable at the expense of the software publisher.
Behavior of software, under all circumstances should be 100% predictable. It's too bad that it isn't. RE |
