Ok, well, I suppose it could do that... but isn't 0.8V a bit small for such a pulse do have any effect. As for the power supplies, they rise slower than the max time indicated in the datasheet. In my understanding, though, it was only to ensure that the brownout detect feature would work...
Thanks for your suggestion, still!

BTW... an application engineer from our Philips distributor told us that we had to disable the brownout detect function in order to be able to use an external supervisor... and guess what? It's not working any better!
