Jan: Hummm I am would expect that - contrary, I would expect that the brownout ON would help (but again only those who know the internals of the chip could tall for sure)... My guess is that since the recent Philips chips use reset as an OUTPUT when e.g. the internal puppy bites, the reason for the disable is that if brownout AND the external supervisor did not "agree" one would be fried. Now, here is another thought: what if using an external super has lead to a "fight" that damaged something in the LPC ? Erik |
