Kai, your reaction is about the same as mine was when we had finally become fully aware of the reset problems (after months of dealing with Philips App engineers). Reset IC isn't enough to solve the problem with this IC. I can't tell you how many engineers (most with Philips) called us crazy for saying the reset was unreliable. To this day, I still don't believe Philips engineers understand how this reset is inferior.

The sad thing about this is that we discussed this with Philips engineers EARLY on and they have yet to correct the problem. They had something like 3 minor revisions to the silicon and one major (932A1) and the reset behavior remains.
