#134496 - if I specify the slew rate for powerdown... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
... fast enough to prevent ANYTHING bad to happen, I am well off with a single RC circuit.
Again, Erik, I am attempting to make a point by exagerrating things. Many (or all?) of the reset issues are related to power. IMO it is better to remedy it by adding a reset supervisor and taking care of the chip's design, than trying to prescribe a specific behaviour for the power supply. Please read my FAQ (can't give a direct link to it: first subfaq of http://www.8052.com/faqs.phtml?FAQ=119931 ). I might be completely wrong in there - in that case please correct me - but that at least provides a base for what we are talking about. JW |
