Is it available in a versoin for their reprogrammable parts? I think so. I think it easier to use a published soft-core, don't you? "Easiest" probably depends on how familiar you are with this stuff? From one point of view, I would think that getting the core and device from the same source as a supported, "ready-to-go" bundle with dev kit and everything would have its advantages? I not that Actel also have a similar thing to give you an ARM on one of their "secure" FPGAs - rather like the TA7/ZA7 were/are the ARM equivalent of the TE5/ZE5... |
