You are absolutely right, Eric. Amateurs such as Nicola Tesla, Alexander Bell, Thomas Edison, and Robert Fulton, etc. Oh and lets not forget "Crazy man" Lear who came up with the magnetic read head and electronic actuated hydraulic valves which found their way into his Lear jets and eventually into fly-wire-aircraft. If it wasn't for designers like you we wouldn't have anything to experiment with. Didn't you know that experimenting is where the fun is.
