#147520 - of course I do Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Didn't you know that experimenting is where the fun is.
Of course I do. I 'experiment' a lot to find the most effective way to implement a standard, but NEVER with violating it. However, 'experimenting' is one thing proposing something that is not required (adjusting caps) as a solution is another. Even worse is proposing a violation of a standard as a 'solution'. Re. Tesla et al I DO have ideas about 'new and wonderful' things but if a standard is applicable (e.g. for communication) I do adhere to it. You can make something brand new without violating standards where they apply. Re. Amateurs and pros No REAL professional would, even in his wildest dreams, violate a standard because he found it 'beneficial' to do so. Yes, I know that there are "yes men" that do so just to show the pointed hair boss how smart they are and, usually, they are employed elsewhere by the time the product returns start pouring in.
