Bigger caps lower the output impedance. Lower output impedance in combination with capacitve load results in higher output signal slew rate, and by this in higher transmission speed.
abbreviating while keeping the essence: "Bigger caps results in higher transmission speed." Then why does the slower 232 have larger caps than the faster 232A? Erik |
