Seriously ... it might be worth your while to spend $70 to $100 on one of the Silicon Labs dev board kits.
The REAL advantage of the SILabs devboards is that you get ICE functionality and there is nothing more educational than the ability to "look under the hood" Erik PS make sure you get a devboard for a SILabs derivative (f0xx - f2xx) not a deviate (f3xx - up) or you will be stuck with SILabs forever or have to relearn the '51. |
