Yes. Diving head first into designing a MCU circuit might be a giant leap. Or at least You need enough time and pitstops to do that.
I started my "career" by building a diode receiver in a cigarrette box. It took 30 years to my first MCU because there was no such thing as MCU available .... So I build my own MCU using TTL logic... ;) John, I think it would be a good idea to find a waypoint or two in between Your target and presence. Nobody is questioning Your ability and willingness to "torture" Yourself - it is just so much more rewarding to get it working even if it is just a blinking led. One waypoint would be to purchase a simple kit - it does not need to be a loaded one - and learn programming with that one. |
