Is it possible that you have made a time extension in the timer interrupt so as to count seconds? In that case, I suggest you can check if the basic timer interrupt occurs precisely at the time interval you specify.
A technique I use to maintain the correct time is to re-initialize the timer registers like so TL1 = -TICKTIME+TL1 & 0xff; TH1 = -TICKTIME >> 8; This compensates for the latency till the timer is reprogrammed. I am not sure if this will help you Jerson |
