#50008 - RE: Inverter string delay Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Kai:
In my design book of techniques part selection is never (or at least hardly ever) an option for a mass produced design. It is costly and costs way more than pick-n-place of standard parts out of a tube. This is one reason I even will use digital pots in analog circuits becasue they can be set automatically at the board level bed-of-nails test as opposed to using "less expensive" trip pots. Regarding minimum delays, if the vendor provides them either in the data sheet or logic family guide I will use the vendor numbers instead of the 1/3 rule of thumb. Michael Karas |
