#82852 - I love C !!!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Well, my experience with C is great.

I learned C++ first (obviusly in the same book was an introduction to C), played a lot with the examples in the book and then moved to ASM.

Then my teacher of electronics introduced me to the embedded world (i start with PICs).

At first i programmed in ASM and i thought that C in such a limited processor was horrible, until i probe a C compiler for this family that changed my mind about C in the embedded world.
After that i thought, "Hey why i don´t used C before in this MCU??", well i was comfortable with ASM, but C lets you write code that it is better understood 2 or 3 weeks after, and like many others said you don´t have to think in ASM terms (ie a you use the "=" to make a variable equal anoter, don´t have to write an ASM opcode to do that).

I think it is more natural to code and to read.

Now i´m moving to the 8052 and i found this great forum and comunity, i´m learning the architecture now (you need ASM for that) but soon i´ll start to code in C again.
It is time to get hands get..

Regards Robert.

PD: Sorry for my horrible english !!!
