Grammatically, C and Pascal are virtually identical, but the readability of Pascal is considerably better. And English is more readable than Pascal, but I wouldn't want to program in it. :) Erik Malunud said:
Someone should tell the Japanese then. It seems that the left hand traffic is now restricted to islands. That's most of Japan, isn't it? :) Oleg Sergeev said:
Welcome to Russia then. Here they are for "dis-information". Most time many of them do not work, rest ones show very strange lights` combinations which no time to think what these puzzles mean of. A few years ago I was driving south of Cancun Mexico to make arragnements for my wedding and, I'm ashamed to say, I was on the cell phone making local arrangements as I drove down the highway. I'd lived in Mexico for the previous 4 years so I was not new to Mexico traffic laws, etc. Suddenly I found myself approaching a stoplight that was flashing its red and green lights simultaneously--now I've seen a stoplights flashing yellow or flashing red, but I'd never seen red and green flashing simultaneously. So with just seconds to go before reaching the light and without thinking I immediately interrupted my own cell phone conversation and asked the person on the other end of the line, "What the heck does it mean here when you have a stoplight flashing green and red at the same time?" She responded, "It means it's broken!" Duh... Andy Neil said:
As I said before, A Real Programmer can write FORTRAN in any language! Real programmers code like this: echo programcode > progname.ZIP Regards, Craig Steiner |
