#87702 - Strange Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I can read most languages and BASIC should be the easiest to read, but no way Jose. Strange, BASIC seems quite basic to me. I've never had any trouble reading it--though I guess that could have something to do with BASIC being the language I got started on decades ago. Does anyone remember the LOGO language? I can't remember what it stood for, but it was basically something with an emphasis on graphics. I think I played with it in elementary school and it was supposed to be the easiest language then available. But I found it a lot harder than BASIC just because it seemed to complicate things too much in the sense that if it took one or two English words in BASIC, it took four or five strange abbreviations in LOGO. If it were assembly language, ok, the extra lines and obscure abbreviations would have been understandable. But it was actually a higher level language than BASIC and it drove me crazy as a 10-year old. :) Regards, Craig Steiner |
