PASCAL is good as compared to C but it is not industry standard. This is the only negative side of PASCAL.
It seems that the only argument made for PASCAL is "It does not allow the programmer to make crap". Li8kewise it seems t hat the only argument for C has been "it is industry standard" NO language is "better" than the author using it. I would consider it a mandatory quality of a skilled programmer to write readable code. It seems some want the coding language to make it so. Does it matter what the language is, if the programmer is doing his job? Thus, why not use the "industry standard" and write clear code instead of whining "C allow me to write crap, it is not my fault" Erik |
