The trouble is that the "testing" in this case means merely "I ran it a few times and didn't notice anything wrong"
That's nowhere near a thorough test! I have seen examples where it took a total of tenthousands of hours (hundereds of units for hundereds of hours) to show a problem. You can do a "thorough" test, 10.000 hours or more and still miss something that require a confluence or a different value within the hardware tolerance. Erik |
