Absolutely!

The mere act of trying to put it into words to explain it will make the scales fall from your eyes.

Many times I have done this, and not even reached the end of the explanation before it suddenly all became clear to me!

WYSIWYW problems can be particularly susceptible to this. Even if you don't see it for yourself, a "fresh pair of eyes" is much more likely to spot such slips.
