I "share". If it's good enough for me, I'm happy with it. If it's not good enough for you, improve it yourself :) I try to maintain some quality in stuff I show to the public, but I'm not bound with it. If you release a product that is not market-ready, you're in trouble. My "products" are never "market-ready" so I never "release" them. Simply, "feel free to take, use on your own risk, don't demand anything from me, I owe you nothing. We can optionally cooperate on a friendly basis but that's all."
In commercial environment this is probably known as "tech demo/preview release" and "customer feedback", except I don't cripple things on purpose. |
