It has got very simple ISP programmer using PC parallel port (using only 5 pins as required by you)
Whats so great about it All Atmel ISP micros need these five pins only. Its a IC property ISP software has nothing to do with this. Its schem (no ICs or parts just connec between PC parallel port & 89s8252 pins) and software is available for free download. I am using it succus since last 2 years and i got this link from www.8052.com only(links) This programmer might not work with newer PC's having 3V parallel port. You should use a HCT buffer such as 74HCT541 in between your printer port and micro to ensure that scheme will work on every PC. Here is a link to better In System Programmer for Atmel parts. Windows based easy interface. Supports a large range of Atmel micros including AVR. http://www.kmitl.ac.th/~kswichit...gm30a.html Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
