I agree with the others - a 25-Way 'D' is definitely the way to go. From my Triscend (RIP) days I have two dev boards: one had a 14-pin header for JTAG, and needed a separate "wiggler"; the other just had a 25-Way 'D'. Just connecting straight to the 25-Way 'D' was, by far the most convenient - none of that tedious messing about with "Wigglers". With a dev kit, ultimate compactness is not a major criterion! ;-) |
