Instead of having a board with all the things and make it very difficult for the beginner or the student to get it or make it, we should have different approaches. Atmel seems to be available, are cheap and lot of free isp programmers are out there. so a small programmer/experimenter board for atmel devices.
and other one the big brother, like available on prjc, with a monitor like paulmon.
hey its just a suggestion. but i like to have the minimum possible hardware on the main board, so i could experiment with various combinations. and in this way the sbc wont really be a sbc but will have growing capabilitis with daughter boards for special purpose.
