Why not?
- It is far easier to interface than a 16 key matrix keypad.
- You get lots of keys.
- Your SBC will be unique and diffrent from other SBC if you use PS/2 keyboard.
- When more keys are required PS/2 keypad is far cheaper and looks better than matrix keypads.
