the Handyboard is a similar 68HC11-based SBC with lots of docs google for Handyboard.

they also have a Fingerboard that is smaller.

i like the ps/2 keyboard idea, and the possibility of daughterboards for different brands of microcontroller. and eeprom optional with a socket (or maybe put the eeprom socket on a larger board, and make a tiny no-eeprom board with no socket).
