Wouldn't it be sad if we had to trust all future performance gains on the h/w designers, and think that the capabilites of s/w have stayed the same for 25 years? You make me wonder if I should stick with software development... Of course there is yet more to get out of the C51 core - but the semi guys have this is as cash cows, so for the future, in s/w we trust... Charlie |
