#81359 - why Keil? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi,
I wonder it it might be better to just provide a link to the Keil database? Well, I do know that Keil produces very good software, but once again: why Keil should be used as source of chips` database? And from another side such "redefinition" looks like advertisement (noting again Keil but...). If we talk about links then maybe is it better to provide links to vendors sites and their databases? For example, just write: Atmel: - general purpose - CAN networking - MP3 app - smart card - USB app SiLabs: - Precision Mixed-Signal - Small Form Factor - General Purpose - USB app - CAN app etc Indeed, I full agree that keep-in-date is titanic work. Maybe you are right that Keil is the best on-line resource. But maybe have someone other ideas? Regards, Oleg |
