...if you search Atmel first, will you check Philips if Atmel has a chip you can use? You may, by searching manufacturers "catalogs", miss a far better/cheaper choice.


Erik, very good point!
One suggestion to Keil is to add some more search parameters (for example, EEPROM built-in checkmark, specific derivatives (MP3, ATAPI, SmartCard etc)).
