#81550 - Offline reading and signatures Responding to: ???'s previous message |
How did you used to read them "offline?" What exactly does that entail? I am on a Dailup modem,When i go online i open a thread, then i click on the page numbers one after another(in a single window and wait for them to fully load) then i Disconnect.and Click the Work Offline in the IE file menu, then after reading the current page,if i click any of the previous pages i will prompted by a Connection Window asking me to go online or stay Offline .if i Click the "Stay Offline" button ,i'll get an error indicating that the page is not available offline. (this problem didn't exist in the ordinary thread based message board) I don't plan on including signatures. I see the use of signatures in emails but I've never really understood the benefit of signatures in message forums. If someone wants to know more about you they can click on your "Profile." I think you didn't got my point ,What i mean from the signatures in example ,is your signature at the end of all of your posts : Regards,
Craig Steiner 8052.com Webmaster As i said, it would be nice to have this feature, but if it seems to be pointless ,i obey. The Flat mode saves me about hundred Clicks ,and it is Awesome ! Again ,Thanks Craig. Hope to been clear enough.(Sorry for my bad English) Regards , Farshid J.H. |
