I entered a lenghty post and decided to ckeck taht I had the right link and wanted to extract a quote from it. I did, but that did not matter, because when I came back to 8052 it was all gone.

I just tried it with Internet Explorer and I can see exactly what you're describing. It happens to me too. But when I do it in Opera the text isn't cleared when I come back to my message.

This wouldn't surprise me--IE may just clear forms when it goes to the page whereas Opera knows better. What I don't understand is you say this used to work with the old version of the site?

PS--Try Opera, Firefox, or Mozilla. Tabbed browsing lets you do all kinds of wonderful things that IE doesn't.
