Well, of course, just having an 8051 with an FPGA all on its own doesn't get you far. What you'd really want with it is easy-to-use software with ready-made IP blocks (such as ALUs configurable to whatever width you require) that you can just "drop in."
It might even be worth buying another company and shutting them down just to get hold of that...

Could never happen, of course... ;-)
