Do you mean the bank selectors? Of course the RiH registers are implemente four times, at the same SFR position, selected together with Ri! Now we have eight 16-bit pointers (vs. 2, max. 4 DPTRs at some derivatives), and this is still easy, nice, symmetric, strongly compatible and trivial! This is the most beautiful part of it! Btw. I would like to have the upper byte of 16-bit registers moved automatically when the lower bytes are moved directly (e.g. mov sp,r1 would imply sph is filled by content of r1h; this should work with dpl, too).
