#88872 - separate memory space for stack Responding to: ???'s previous message |
What about separate memory space only for stack ?
There is a so called '51 derivative (saw no purpose for it so I did not make note of the brand) that is specifically made for the benefit of those that will not/can not/do not want to realize that the '51 is not a "mini PC". This so called '51 derivative has a separate space for the stack and other things so you can do all the PC stuff that has no bussiness being used in a '51 (reentrant, function pointers, OS, malloc). WHY are you asking for a '51 that is not a '51. If you need something that a '51 does not have, by all means use an x86 or an ARM or whatever else. As I have mentioned, there are "'51 like" 16 bitters as the Philips XA series and I think everything that has been requested in this thread is included in those chips. Erik |
