#76635 - RE: Atari 400/800 implementation with 80 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
A full blown architecture using a 8052 seems a daunty task... but is feasible... the sinclair zx is the proof.
there are lots of emulators, simulators and remade 8 bit computers, but all seem to be based in some commercial product (MSX, Sinclair, TRS...) and all of them are 6502 or Z80 based... I think that the MSX would be a good model to folow... a closed box with keyboard, BASIC, cassete interface and RF output with a bus slot for future upgrades (disk interface, modem, printer...) |
