Why re-invent the wheel.....we had this stuff in fine form as long ago as 1978....30+ years ago!
I totally agree with your opinion, Michael, and give you a positive Karma point! I would like to see a high redundant, high reliability multi-microcontroller application, where the individual micros handle malfunctioning controllers by some kind of a 'democratic' voting. How can sensors be read and actuators be controlled, that this democratic voting principle is supported? Or by other words: How to design a microcontroller application, that will be 'totally' error free, even if heavy malfunction, like partial loss of code memory, or break of sensor cable, for instance, will occur? That would be a nice project! But to toy arround with this old Atari stuff... Kai |
