#77043 - RE: Defining the project & new ideas Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Don,
What would you propose differently? If one was to implement an '51 "pc" you would immediately notice the lack of binaries. The nature of the "ATARI" conceptual model was that very quickly a wide variety of software appeared do to the popularity and published capability of the platform. If the design of such a platform could scale from small to somewhat larger, it might be useful to more people and generate more binaries and techniques for use. Also many existing solutions for I/O exist. If an API achieved general acceptance, these devices while quite capable stand alone, could easily implement into such a system. regards, p |
