Hello Raghu,
Thanks for kind words. All of this karma stuff is just crumbs compared to the big picture. My last post "Wild pig NR 2" (http://www.8052.com/forum/rea...top=77504) was an application I am working on. It involves monitoring buses which leave a certain point by taking a picture and sending the picture using the Internet to an operator who transpose the bus number and route into text information. This information is put into a data base to see if the operators are doing their job. I live is a large city where they employ about 10 highly paid union people ($25/hr) to sit with a clip board and write down the information. They have been doing it this way for years. The union is not to happy to see me building an application which will replace 10 of it members. They also don't like the public to have information which shows the busses are not running on time. Nothing can stop this and the problem exists in every major city of the world. Who ever can put together such a system that delivers this information they will be millionaires. When there is this type of potential at stake it doesn't make sense to argue over karma points. Life will go on and quietly someone will be working hard solving life's little problem. One day we will come across their product and say to ourselves "That was my idea" Regards, Charles Bannister |
