Just like you were baffled when your personal experience was scored "-1 Wrong Answer" others are equally baffled when they share code and are scored with "-1 Gimme code."
In my suggestion of a why? link I am specifically referring to "Wrong Answer" which, of all the scores, should be based on fact.
The other reasons for a positive or negative score express an opinion. E.g. John Does opinion of whether an answer is useful can be very different from Buddy Roes. Even "gimme code" can be subjective: "I have all code except the code to drive the UART" could be interpreted as "I have made a valiant effort" or "I have located and copied all code except"
