#78382 - RE: Keil list coming Responding to: ???'s previous message |
But in the past I asked for volunteers to help with the effort tp do data-entry of available chips and the response was pretty much zero. The database idea died and the obsolete chip list has been online ever since.
If a few members were interested in helping me compile an accurate database of current derivatives then we could try implementing our own database. Otherwise I think using Keil's database is going to be significantly better than what we currently have. 1) with the cooperation you mention from Keil, why not make the updates happen in both places. That way there is no need to reinvent the wheel. If Keil add a chip, it should be transparent in bith places. 2) I will gladly volunteer to review/make entries re. Philips chips as I have channels for clearing up questions on that brand (may even get a Philips person to verify the entries). Erik |
